Co-Founder, Author, Former Associate Professor

Born on the south-west coast of Canada, grew up in rural territory near one of BC’s First Nations. Completed a PhD in St. Petersburg, Russia, with post-doctoral research done in Mexico and Lithuania. Former associate professor at a liberal arts university & affiliated associated professor at a social innovation laboratory in Vilnius. Later worked at an educational high tech startup company in Yangon, Myanmar. Back in Canada, managing editor of a journal about technology, management and innovation and cofounder of a web 3 startup working on projects related to youth employability and consensus-formation. Believes technology cannot liberate us and can be treated carefully and understood in a way that lessens its damage to us. Enjoys exploring the boundaries and relations between science, philosophy, and theology in a trans-evolutionary way. Dreams of visiting Alaska to explore Orthodoxy’s contact with First Nations people and spread across N. America.
